I’ve officially lived in Georgia for two weeks, 2 days in a luxury hotel & 10 somewhere in between miserable and mold filled tent. Living in a tent, surrounded by 40 people 24/7, freezing in the rain, burning in the heat, no in between, only getting laundry & dishes days when it’s pouring, eating some WILD foods, jumping, hooting , and hollaring when we get so much as a peanut butter and jelly. (Not to be confused with a peanut butter, bread and jelly). Taking freezing cold bucket showers, or using a shopping container for a shower, drinking out of a hose, and living the WORLD RACE LIFE. Although this experience has already been so much different than I had ever anticipated, it has been the biggest blessing already. Yes we’ve had our really great days, but also some really tough days. We’re tested phsyically, mentally and spiritually every single day, which has already allowed for SO much growth in every area of my life. Im excited to be able to continue sharing daily updates through my Instagram stories, blog when I can, and enjoy the life I’m so blessed to be living.
A huge HUGE thank you to everyone all over supporting me along this journey and keeping up. I would not be here without such a great community back home and for that I am so grateful.
So proud of you!
It’s been so fun to see all of your pictures! What part of Georgia are you in?! We’re 25 min outside of Savannah. In Bluffton, SC. And yes, It. Is. Hot. ?? and wet ??
Sounds like so much fun Jack with many things to learn and do. We are very proud of you and send our ??and ???? each day.
That was supposed to be …sending our love and prayers each day!
Your doing great! Keep your eye on the prize and have some fun along the way ! Philippians 3:13-14 ESV
“Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
So glad that all the trials of training camp are producing personal and spiritual growth. I am truly glad this experience has been wild and wonderful for you. I think there are lots more wild, wonderful, and trying moments in your future.
I got caught up from the beginning of your journey – I look forward to following you the next nine months! Prayers continue for you to grow, experience, and be a faithful servant for the Lord. I’m proud of all you are doing!
